Scar Revision

I have a peri-areolar scar from my top surgery.  I got an infection 4 weeks post-op and the sutures separated along my areola and my chest skin.  The scars don't look all that bad, but the width makes my nipples look larger than they should.  My fiancée doesn't really want me to have to go through healing again, but if I could have a thinner scar, I think I could be happy.  I'm going to go ahead and start saving for a revision.

According to these studies, there is a 91-95% of an improvement.  I know what to look for if an infection starts this time, which means I will not wait 4 days until the sutures fall apart... :(

All-in-all, I'm not a bad healer.  1 month, it looked grotesque.  I'm almost at 3 months, and it doesn't look as bad as some people who had no complications.  (I had a hematoma and then an infection).  Everytime I second guess myself, I will just visit this page.

91-95% change of improvement vs. being self-conscious about my chest anytime I'm at the gym or a summer festival, or running with no shirt :/  Totally worth 6 weeks of not lifting anything above 10-20lbs.
